Characters

How do I book a party?

It’s so easy to book a party! Just call us or send us a message with the date of the event and which service you want and we will take it from there!


How far do you travel?

We will travel within 2 hours of Saugerties, NY. Travel within 30 miles of Saugerties is included. Additional travel will be subject to fees. Contact us for an estimate!


How far in advance do I need to book?

We suggest booking your event as far in advance as possible. Booking 4-6 weeks in advance is preferred but we will try our best to accommodate a shorter time period if needed. For special requests we require 6-8 weeks notice.


What if I don’t see the character we want to hire?

No problem! Just let us know which character you would like and we will take care of the rest!


Do the characters come by themselves?

Our performers are always accompanied by an assistant.


Will your entertainers come to an outdoor party?

Of course! If you are planning an outdoor party, please have a backup plan in the event of bad weather. The costumes our performers wear are extremely delicate, it is preferred to have a covered or shaded area for our activities. Our performers cannot maneuver in dirt or mud as well.


Can I have a character come to a school, daycare or activity center?

Absolutely! We will even deliver cupcakes or goodie bags for you. Let us know what you are thinking and we will make it happen!


Am I responsible for parking?

We request that you save a parking spot for your performers to park in the driveway or in front of the event location. We appreciate having safe access to the venue. The client is responsible for any costs associated with parking.


What if a guest/child gets upset or misbehaves?

Any behavior issues are to be addressed by a parent or the party host. The performer is only responsible to entertain children. A parent or host must be present at all times.


Does it matter how many guests I invite?

Our performers can interact with up to 25 children. If you are expecting more than 25 children, please contact us for more information.


What if my guests arrive late?

All party visits MUST begin at the scheduled time agreed upon at the time of booking. Our performers will be punctual and start on time. Late guests are welcome to join in upon arrival. Our performers are not able to stay past their scheduled time.


What activities do the characters do?

You can choose between a game or a story time. The story will be based on the character hired unless specified.


Will the character stay for cake?

Yes! The character will stand next to your child while everyone sings Happy Birthday. While you are serving cake, the character will give hugs and hi-fives and say their goodbyes.


Do you require a deposit?

We require a $50 non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking to hold your date.  (33% deposit required for 3 or more performers)


What payment options do you accept?

We accept payment through PayPal, SquareCash, cash or personal check. 


When is my payment due?

Final payments are due 7 days prior to your event but are always welcome early!


What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

If you choose to cancel your visit after it is booked, you agree to forfeit your deposit. All deposits are non-refundable. You may postpone your visit with at least 72 hours notice. You have up to one year to reschedule your party.


Do your entertainers accept gratuity?

Absolutely! Gratuities are never expected but always appreciated. We do not include gratuity in the price of the package, so if you want to show your entertainer you loved their performance, gratuity is a great way of doing so.


What if I’m not satisfied with my Party Character?

Should any concerns arise with regards to our services or performers, we require that you contact us while the entertainer is present at your event. This allows us to address the issue and make adjustments. Once the entertainer leaves your event, it is mutually assumed and agreed that you were satisfied with our services. If you are unable to do so, we still welcome your feedback.

Are your paints safe for children?

All of our paints are FDA compliant, water based and hypoallergenic.


How many children can you paint per hour?

We can paint approximately 10-12 children per hour. We can customize your visit based on how many children are attending.


How long can we leave the face paint on?

We recommend washing the paint off before bedtime.  


Can the adults get face painting done?

We welcome adults to join in the fun but only after the children have been completed.  We wouldn't want a child to miss out!
